Categorization Of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise

For Industry involved in Production, Processing or Preservation of Goods - Investment in Plant & Machinery to be less than ₹25 lakhs.

For Service Sector - Investment in Equipments should not exceed ₹10 lakhs.

*Revision under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan Enterprise with Investment less than ₹1 crore and annual turnover less than ₹5 crore to considered Micro Enterprise.

For Industry involved in Production, Processing or Preservation of Goods - Enterprise which has Investment in Plant & Machinery between ₹25 lakhs and ₹5 crores are considered as small Enterprises

For Service Sector -Enterprise with investment in Equipments is between ₹10 lakhs and ₹2 crores are considered as Small Enterprise.

*Revision under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan Enterprise with Investment less than ₹10 crore and annual turnover less than ₹50 crore to considered Small Enterprise.

Industries involved in Production, Processing or Preservation of Goods - Enterprise which has Investment in Plant & Machinery above ₹5 crores are considered as Medium Enterprises

For Service Sector -Enterprise with investment in Equipments above ₹2 crores are considered as Medium Enterprise.

*Revision under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan Enterprise with Investment less than ₹50 crore and annual turnover less than ₹250 crore to considered Micro Enterprise.

Eligibility to register as MSME Registration?

Nature Of Business

Any business or enterprise involved in production, processing or preservation of goods or service provider that fall under above categories can apply for MSME Registration.

Investment in Plant & Machinery

As mentioned enterprises with investment in plant and machinery less than ₹5crore can apply for this registration.

Investment in Equipments

Any enterprise with investment in equipment below ₹2crore can apply.

Turn Over

Business with annual turnover less than ₹250 crore is eligible for registration under new Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan.

2. Subordinate loan to small and medium-sized enterprises
3. Approximately 50,000 crores of equity to be invested into MSME's "Funds Account."
No delayed payment
If an MSME entity has made any sale, then the buyer has to pay to the MSME's entity can pay between the duration of 45 days from the date of delivery of product or services. Otherwise, interest @ 3x the bank interest rate can be charged by MSME.
